Jess a recent graduate from the BFA program at Louisiana Tech currently lives and works in Bossier-Shreveport area. When asked about her photography she responded "The photographs I make are broken down into their raw, most basic form with the use of a nude model. The constructions are manipulated and the color palette is controlled to symbolize the control I have attempted to seize in my life. Themes of confinement, loneliness, ritual, growth, decay, and struggle are found in the work to represent how difficult it is to find a sense of belonging in a space. The themes are portrayed in a delicate, microcosmic way to reinforce the subtlety of my emotions and relate to the viewer."
