Adrian Gibson

Bossier City, Louisiana- November 14, 2013 - The Bossier Arts Council and Boomtown Casino's 1800 Prime Steakhouse present WAM featuring the art of Adrian Gibson.  Please join us for gourmet food, wine pairings, art and music on November 14 from 5:30-7:30.
Gipson is a graduate from Louisiana Tech's Master of Fine Arts program and currently teaches for Ouachita Talented Arts Program.  When asked about his work Gipson responded "The main concept of my artwork is centered on our abilities to solve problems through reduction. In the work, I use geometric and organic forms. The geometric forms represent man-made objects. The organic forms represent natural objects. I use these forms to depict analogies between natural and manmade objects. Growing up, I spent my summers working for my Dad on his brick crew during the week, and practicing music with him on the weekends. In both cases I learned to reduce complex information down to simple patterns and rhythms."
