This week (88 years ago) the first brick was laid for the beautiful building that we call home.
From The Bossier Banner November 13th, 1926-
" The Masonic Grand Lodge of Louisiana laid the corner stone of the new $50,000 Bossier City Municipal Hall on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the afternoon in the presense of several hundred citizens. J. Paul Haller Grand Master introduced the speakers. Mayor L.E. Thomas of Shreveport made the principal address. Mayor Tom Hickman of Bossier made a short talk."
There was even a parade!!!
Happy Birthday to our building and many more years of serving the community with your beautiful architecture.
